Covered Bridge Festival

The Parke County Covered Bridge Festival is Indiana's largest festival, celebrating Parke County's 31 historic covered bridges with authentic arts and crafts, delicious festival food, and spectacular fall color. Festival activities are spread across 9 communities, with Rockville serving as the official headquarters and the heart of the celebration, where visitors can browse hundreds of handmade vendors gathered around the historic courthouse square. Held each year for 10 days beginning on the second Friday in October, it's a beloved autumn tradition that draws visitors from across the Midwest to experience the charm of Indiana's "Covered Bridge Capital of the World."
